Married with 2 children, 2 step-children, 5 grandchildren.
Reading a good book, traveling, kayaking, spending time with my husband, children, and grandchildren.
After years of raising 5 children and moving 3 states (NJ, CO, and PA), Kathleen Haller began her real estate career on the Main Line of Philadelphia in 1983 and quickly became Rookie of the Year.
Life changed in 1991 as her husband, Lee, retired and they became total "live aboard" on a 44' Bristol CC Sloop and took off from Nantucket, heading south stopping at every island on the way to Venezuela -then to the West Indies and the coast of South America. Once they made Central America in Panama, they headed slowly north to Mexico, eventually arriving back in Key West. It was the experience of a lifetime.
Not wanting to shovel snow again, they moved to Beaufort, SC. and were going to build a home in the Old Historic Point. When that didn't work out, they searched and found St Simons Island and bought their home in 1994.
On St. Simons, Kathleen jumped back into real estate and her husband built a home. Now they have made many friends and put down deep roots and could never leave this wonderful place. After 20+ years on the Island, her real estate career has blossomed, and she feels blessed for all the wonderful referrals that her clients have given over the years. The most rewarding is former clients sending their family members or past clients coming back again.
Their five children and Lee's two, and all the spouses visit as often as possible and so do their 17 grandchildren. They all love coming and wish they could move here. Maybe one day…
Now their home is filled with the antics of pups, Sofia Graziella and Bailey Bear. Their Sea Palms neighborhood is a wonderful place for children to fish and people to walk their dogs...
